Our Philosophy
We are an independent family-run business, that cares deeply for the environment and sustainable practices. This is reflected in our fabric choices, our small batch manufacturing and responsible European production that meets the highest standards.
By working with selected trusted suppliers and selling directly to you, we don’t have to compromise on quality and can cut away middle men and huge traditional markups.
We strive to be open and transparent in our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. We are constantly working to improve and implement our strategy, to ensure the welfare of our planet and the people we work with. This allows us to manufacture dresses that are in line with our brand values and let you start off your marriage with the right footprint.

Our Suppliers
A big part of our commitment to sustainability are the companies we choose to partner with. That means that we ensure that our suppliers comply with our ethical standards and values. Learn about the people that help create your wedding dress.
We are proud to manufacture our garments in Lithuania, source our fabric from Turkey and trimmings from Portugal, keeping our supply chains as short as possible by maintaining proximity with our mills and working exclusively with those who share our values of paying living wages, treating workers with respect, and providing safe, comfortable working conditions.
Throughout our supply chain, we rigorously and wholeheartedly abide by the Code of Conduct, based on ILO Conventions for labour practises and the UN’s Declaration on Human Rights, setting standards for labor rights and safety practises.
ARTEMIS strongly supports the industry-wide movement towards greater transparency in fashion supply chains. We always disclose the location of our suppliers and detailed information about them, however we do not share their full address due to privacy, security and safety concerns.
For specific inquiries about any of our facilities, please contact our team at hello@artemiscph.com and we will provide further information. Rest assured that we have thoroughly investigated our facilities to ensure they meet the social and environmental standards we demand in our supply chain partners.
Our Factory
ARTEMIS dresses are made in a small family-run boutique atelier located in Klaipėda, Lithuania. The factory has its long-lasting traditions in producing small-batched collections that require craftsmanship, delicacy, and attention to detail. It is being run together by a husband and wife team and has 10 employees currently.
The Atelier is not only run by a family, it’s how it treats its employees too. Most of the existing team members working at the Atelier have been employed there since the opening of the business 1996. During this period of time, they have been traveling in this business journey together through thick and thin so loyalty, trust, humanity and sincere communication have become the inseparable values that describe the atmosphere in the company.
They have strong values and beliefs in sustainable production, therefore the factory is focused on working with environmentally-friendly and sustainable businesses only, who avoids overproduction, use ecological, stored or recycled fabrics and support the idea of ethical fashion.
We work closely with them developing our styles and their commitment and expertise has ensured that we can deliver the highest level of quality.
Fabric is one of the most important elements in a wedding dress and we choose ours with care. Three things are essential to us when picking the perfect fabric: sustainability, comfort and breathability. So you can dance all night without a care in the world.
Our Fabric Mill
The fabric mill is based in Izmir, Turkey at the end of the Silk Road. It was founded in 1949 and the headquarters are still based there. It’s a family run business and is held in high regard as a beacon to the community. We are working with them on the basis of shared values, excellence in quality, and their practical ability and unique selection of sustainable fabrics that adhere to strict chemical standards.
They are one of the leading companies in Turkey that have specialised in natural fibres such as Silk, Linen and Wool and their blends with cotton and viscose and work exclusively with them.
As a company policy, they only work with yarn suppliers who have Oeko-tex certificates for their cotton. They can also provide GOTs, OCS, Sedex, BCI certificates and reports for their production.
The facility’s door is always open for customers and audit companies for any kind of visit.
Work hours, hourly rates and wages of employees are all in balance with government policies and they support them to create a healthy and giving workplace. They have their own Ethical Standards handbook and teach their employees about work ethics on a regular basis.
The fabric mill is certified as an organic producer. Their production has recently been audited and their certifications are updated till February, 2021.
Circular mindset
They have a 7500 sqm closed area in their production facility where they collect and have invested in a special roof system on top of the factory that collects it in a water tank.
It reduces the risk of flood in the area and the water is used in the production to reduce impact on the environment.
Waste less
The factory has an integrated water treatment facility that cleans the water from the production so that it can be used to support local farmers for agriculture.
New developments
They have invested in beam-dyeing machines to decrease their carbon footprint. These machines are more ecological than regular dyeing machines. They can dye a whole roll at a time due to the high pressure it applies.
Our Packaging
Shipping Boxes
At ARTEMIS we are always trying to find ways to reduce our carbon footprint, that is why we have chosen shipping boxes that resonate our values.
The shipping boxes are made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. This guarantees to you that the product comes from a producer, who has bought material from forests certified to the highest standards, and whose production therefore supports responsible forest management.
The RESY symbol is for consolidation of transit packaging manufactured from corrugated cardboard only. It guarantees that packaging is recyclable and will be accepted by cardboard recyclers.
Climate neutral products - the highest level of climate protection
Anyone who buys climate neutral products is making a concrete contribution to fighting global warming. The label guarantees the climate neutrality of the labeled product and means that they have calculated the carbon emissions inevitably generated in the process chain and offset them via recognized carbon offset projects.
Wrapping Tissue
To protect and wrap the dresses on their journey to you, we have decided to work with the company “Satin Wrap” that created premium wrapping paper that is certified by the Sustainable Forest Initiative.
SFI Inc. is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management. They work with conservation groups, local communities, resource professionals, landowners, and countless other organizations and individuals who share our passion for responsible forest management.
Their forest certification standard is based on principles that promote sustainable forest management, including measures to protect water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, species at risk, and Forests with Exceptional Conservation Value.
Plastic Bags
For safe storage of the dresses we use recyclable Low-density polyethylene bags.
